Differenza tra primarie e secondarie???

Qualcuno mi può spiegare cosa sono, nel cambio, le primarie e le secondarie??? Sia teoricamente e da che pezzi sono formate.

    Io ho sempre definito primaria il gruppo pignone + corona e secondario l'asse del cambio..poi multiplo o quadruplo o albero di natale l'alberino con gli ingranaggi che va innestato nel cuscinetto cieco 6200 (mi pare!)del carter volano!

    Poi magari sbaglio pure io a denominarli così!
